Adama Traore’s agent has rubbed Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters up the wrong way with his recent comments. Rodri Baster said the 24-year-old may be in contract talks with Wolves but didn’t want to rule out the possibility of him moving elsewhere if he didn’t get the deal he wanted.
Traore’s representative told Spanish outlet EFE: “I can’t talk about contractual situations because it’s a private matter, but Adama was having a good season, and with his age, conditions and the fact he’s a very appealing player, there would have been a market for him, no doubt about it. We have to hope for the situation to normalise itself and hope that it won’t affect him this summer”.
Sell him then, if the player doesn’t want to be at the club then get rid. Yes he’s unplayable at times but Neto is gunna be some talent and we would get big money for Adama. Start Neto then loan Adama back after 6months when his new manager looses faith 2 quickly.

But he does have injury issues and if silly money came in surely it’s sensible to sell and get another in

I agree with this, plus I don’t think he’d be the same player without nuno guiding him. Sell him for top price then have him back on the cheap in 12 months when it ain’t worked out for him

Sorry but Nuno has helped this player’s turnaround & he’s the bloke who we should be securing a next contract. I’m more than happy if Adama stays but if silly money is on the table I think we will sell. Think why Podence was signed & we’ve Neto also. £90m minimum.

Whether he moves or stays (and I hope he stays for sure) it’s clearly a tactical piece from his agent and typical of how football agents operate. Adama also needs to get that shoulder sorted as well #wolves /\_/\⚽️

Nuno belived wholly in him and has transformed adama into a machine. He owes Nuno a few seasons in my book

Unfortunately I’m sure he may move on but I predict he could flop elsewhere without the guidance of Nuno .

Traore joined Wolves from Middlesbrough in 2018 and has gone on to make 79 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven goals and making 13 assists. The 24-year-old has been sensational this season, having a hand in 16 goals in 43 games across the board, and is arguably the best natural winger in Europe.
As per WhoScored, Traore scored and created a total of 11 goals in 28 Premier League outings, created 38 chances and had 145 successful dribbles (74%), completed 73.6% of his 568 passes, won 34 aerial duels (44%), had 34 shots with 26% accuracy, blocked 16 crosses/passes/shots, made 12 clearances, whipped in 144 crosses with 21.5% finding a teammate, won 63 free-kicks, gave away 31 fouls and averaged a tackle (32) or interception (12) every 47 minutes.
The Spaniard has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid this season. He’s also been tipped to represent Spain’s national team by manager Luis Enrique.
Traore is indispensable to Wolves and has three more years remaining on his deal, however, so it’s unlikely he’s going anywhere this summer. Fans should take his agent’s comments with a pinch of salt for now.
