According to Duncan Castles of the Daily Record and Sunday Times, Bayern Munich are interested in Adama Traore and could make a move for the 24-year-old this summer. Castles says Traore’s asking price may be around €100m (£88.2m) while his salary is €2.5m-a-year/€48k-per-week (£2.2m-a-year/£43k-per-week).

Which club did Wolves sign Raul Jimenez from?

The Spaniard finds himself on the radar of many European giants after impressing for Wolverhampton Wanderers. Traore joined the West Midlands outfit in 2018 and has gone on to make 79 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven goals and making 13 assists.

The 24-year-old was in fantastic form before the season was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, scoring six goals and making 10 assists in 43 games across the board. As per WhoScored, Traore had a hand in 11 goals in 28 league outings, created 38 chances and had 145 successful dribbles (74%).

He’s completed 73.6% of his 568 passes, won 34 aerial duels (44%), had 34 shots with 26% accuracy, blocked 16 crosses/passes/shots, made 12 clearances, whipped in 144 crosses with 21.5% finding a teammate, won 63 free-kicks, gave away 31 fouls and averaged a tackle (32) or interception (12) every 47 minutes.

In addition to Bayern, Castles claims Manchester City are also interested, while Traore’s form has led to him being linked with a move to Liverpool and Real Madrid, but Wolves have no desire to let him go. He’s one of the best natural wingers in the continents and has been essential in their domestic and European campaign.

Prior to the season being postponed, Wolves were sitting sixth in the Premier League table with 43 points from 29 games. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men had reached the last-16 of the Europa League too. It’s hard to see Bayern lodging a €100m bid for Traore, so this story may not go anywhere.

I have a hunch he will stay one more season, then I think he will go to Barca or real……. reports suggesting he’d leave us for spurs or city are well wide of the mark…. theres only one prem league team that would be a move up in footballing terms, we all know which that us and Jurgen gave him a hug at the end of game at mol

  • John Davies says:

Why would LiVARpool be a move up? they should win the premiership this season that has been a very poor league, but that’s it for them – we are on the up and it won’t be long before people are saying xyz players joining the Wolves will a move up, personally i think we already are!

    • I'd definitely say we're a move up from man u arsenal and spurs, sideways for Leicester and city but we sent quite at liverpool's level yet, we have hope tho says:

      Wolves ay we🐺🐺🐺
