Morgan Gibbs-White is coming off the back of a disappointing campaign and may have an uncertain future at Wolverhampton Wanderers. The 20-year-old suffered a setback in his development, as he was short of form, fitness and playing time, and ended the season on the treatment table.

Gibbs-White is unlikely to be a first-team regular in 2020/21, but the academy graduate still has two more years on his deal at Molineux and may be given at least one more season to prove his worth. Supporters from We are Wolves are torn between loaning him out and selling him, however.

Which club did Wolves sign Raul Jimenez from?

Ryan Perry: “Loan him out and give (Connor) Ronan a chance in the side.”

Davey McJones: “Loan would be good for him.”

Nathan Pearce: “Sell.”

Graham Palmer: “Loan him out.”

Wayne Silky Ratcliffe: “He’s not taken his chances.”

Laky Bains: “Not good enough at this time.”

Christopher Barker: “To be honest, he needs to go. A decent Championship player but not worthy of the (Premier League) I’m afraid to say.

Rik Benbow: “Give him a loan spell. The boy has potential.”

Stephen Tomlinson: “Loan spell. Let another team give him game time then review how he gets on.”

Gibbs-White rose through the youth ranks to the Wolves first-team in 2018 and has gone on to make 67 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal and making one assist.

The England U21 international has made only 13 appearances across the board, scoring once. Gibbs-White has amassed less than 700 minutes of football and hasn’t always set the place alight when picked.

With Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Romain Saiss, Bruno Jordao and Leander Dendoncker ahead of Gibbs-White in the pecking order, the young midfielder has a lot to prove to Nuno.

A loan away would boost his chances of first-team football next season, but it remains to be seen what Wolves will do.
