Wolverhampton Wanderers came from 2-1 down to win 3-2 against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon and Matt Doherty was one of many players lauded for his performance. The 28-year-old had a hand in two of Wolves’ goals and was equally as impressive with his defensive duties.
Where will Wolverhampton Wanderers finish in the Premier League?

After Tottenham broke the deadlock through Steven Bergwijn, Doherty equalised inside of half an hour. He scored from close-range after Spurs failed to deal with a Ruben Vinagre cross.
Immediately after the restart, Wolves went behind again through Serge Aurier. Doherty turned provider to equalise, however, squaring the ball for Diogo Jota to tap-in after a solo run from Adama Traore.
He also produced a match-saving block at the end of the game to ensure all three points went back to Wolverhampton. Supporters were impressed and hailed his performance on social media.

That was a Doherty master class today, I won't hear any more slander against him when Vinagre is a liability on the left. #wwfc
