Following all the speculation linking Wolverhampton Wanderers with Dijon midfielder Enzo Loiodice, news yesterday that the 19-year-old talent was due to have a medical at the club at some point on Tuesday, was certainly greeted with delight by many fans.
With the youngster having come through the French clubs Academy, he’s impressed in his 13 starts and eight substitute showings, and he’s gained youth international experience for France at both Under 19 and Under 20 levels so far.
Very much one for the future you would imagine as he settles in and Athletic journalist Tim Spiers is confident the loan to buy deal will soon be announced.
Loiodice, a right-footed defensive midfielder, will head into the U23 squad to start with. Played 21 times in Ligue 1.

Reacting to the news on social media, it seems those that know a little bit more about the lad think we might have a gem on our hands if he continues developing and meets his potential. It’s certainly a big claim to suggest he’s going to be Joao Moutinho’s replacement in a few years time.

Sounds like a potentially go d signing. Understand and share frustrations over lack of First team signings, but still happy to see talented players like this signed up.
