Lots of Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter to the news that they are poised to sign a France U20 international in Enzo Loiodice from Dijon in Ligue 1.
According to reports from L’Equipe (via Sport Witness), Nuno Espirito Santo’s team looks set to sign the young midfielder in what would be the club’s third transfer of the window.
The report states that the 19-year-old will pay most of his football for the U23s this season, giving the club a better chance to look at him more closely before deciding if they want to sign him on a permanent deal or not.
Is Enzo Loiodice a good signing?
Yes, looks a good prospect
Nope, should steer clear
Can we just sign a first-teamer, please?
Despite the player coming into the U23s, he has already notched up 21 Ligue 1 appearances over three different campaigns.
Unfortunately for the youngster, this season hasn’t gone quite like he would have helped. After debuting in the 17/18 season and playing 12 games in previous campaign, he has managed just five at this stage of the season.
After freelance reporter Tim Nash and fan account @TalkingWolves posted tweets to their profiles, many fans responded with their personal opinions. Some seemed very excited by the prospect, others made a joke about him being ‘mustard’ due to him being from Dijon and some just want the club to buy a senior player this window.
Here are some of the responses below…
wow that is a nice surprise, he's got talent and already played fair share of games in Ligue 1. Its probably loan with option to buy but i wonder how high is the option.

Have #wwfc got the biggest U23 squad in world football?

With the club confirming the signings of Nigel Lonwijk and Leonardo Campana so far this January, the club have clearly made steps to have signed players for the future, but now fans want someone who is going to bolster their squad right away – and you can’t really blame them with such a big second half of the season coming up.
