Wolves On The Tweet

“Best moment of my life” – Many Wolves fans are drooling over club tweet

|

Lots of Wolves fans have been discussing where Diogo Jota’s goal against Manchester United last season in the FA Cup ranked in their all-time Molineux moments.

With the Premier League and Europa League being suspended, many clubs’ Twitter accounts have gone into overdrive to keep firing out relevant content.

In one of Wolves’ latest tweets, they tweeted a video of Jota’s goal in the FA Cup Quarter Final last season. As many fans will remember, the game was finely poised at 1-0 to Wolves after Jimenez had put them in front, before Jota picked up the ball just inside the United half, going on to turn Luke Shaw inside out and finish past Sergio Romero.

How should the season end?

Totally void the entire season

Finish with the current table

Try and complete it in the summer

Unsurprisingly, Molineux was sent into absolute raptures as it became clear that they will be in the FA Cup Semi-Final for the first time since 1998.

Of course, they went on to blow a lead against Watford in that Wembley appearance, but it was still a cup run fans won’t be forgetting for a while.

Here is what fans have to say about it…

This was obviously a huge moment for the club as it was real proof of how far they had come under Nuno Espirito Santo in such a short time.

This season, however, has gone even better. Wolves were sixth in the league and a game away from the final eight of the Europa League before both were suspended, so many will be crossing their fingers that both of these tournaments can get going again.
