Plenty of Wolves have had their say on Jose Mourinho after the coach described his side’s loss as “totally unfair” yesterday.
The Portuguese manager faced another in Nuno Espirito Santo on Sunday afternoon in what was an important Champions League-chasing game, and it was the away side that went home with all three points in a five-goal thriller.
Spurs had the lead twice, but Nuno’s side managed to bounce back on both occasions before a fantastically taken finish from Raul Jimenez put Wanderers ahead.
The win is a huge one for Wolves’ Champions League hopes. With that win, they have leapfrogged Spurs into the top six of the Premier League with 42 points to their name from 28 games. Chelsea in fourth have 45 points, while Spurs in seventh have 40. Not bad going for a team that many people doubted at the beginning of the season with the additional Europa League games.
In fact, only Liverpool has lost fewer games than them all season in the Premier League, showing just how hard this team is to beat.
How will we get on against Brighton?
Win
Lose
Draw
Following the match, Mourinho didn’t seem to think that Wolves were worthy of all three points.
When speaking to Match of the Day, he said (via BBC): “I think unfair. The players didn’t deserve the defeat. We were punished by, I would say, mentality mistakes. You have to be ruthless against teams like Wolves that plays fantastically well on the counter-attack.”
Wolves fans didn’t agree, as you can see from the replies below…
Cause of a booking? But they persisted to foul Adama

With 10 games to go and potentially fifth place picking up Champions League football next year, it is all to play for from Wolves’ perspective.
There will not be a priority but both the ambitions of winning the Europa League and finishing within the top 4 are not impossible, and with each game, seem even more plausible.
