Adama Traore suffered another shoulder dislocation in Sunday’s 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur and Nuno Espirito Santo admitted he’s getting “worried about him”, due to how frequently this injury is occurring.

Traore has dislocated his shoulder three times this season and suffered his latest injury after having his arm tugged by Japhet Tanganga. The 24-year-old isn’t expected to be sidelined for Wolverhampton Wanderers’ meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Nuno told the Express and Star: “Again, it dislocated. It’s happened before and I’m worried about him, yes. It’s something that he struggles with. It’s a lot of pain. He’s a strong boy, but he suffers like everybody else.” Traore has made 41 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring and creating 16 goals.

The Spanish winger first dislocated his shoulder in Wolves’ 2-1 defeat Tottenham in December and did it again in their 0-0 draw with Manchester United in February. On both occasions, Traore returned in time for Wolves’ next gameso he didn’t miss any football.

Express and Star believe surgery may be required to solve the underlying problem at the end of the season, but Traore may have to play through the pain barrier until then. The 24-year-old has missed only five games in all competitions this season, but Wolves shouldn’t be reckless if he’s in danger of exacerbating the injury.
