Who needs Premier League football or an FA Cup Semi-Final when you can celebrate the £30million capture of Mexican striker Raul Jimenez.
Our 27-year-old has been the main news this week going into Sunday’s clash at Wembley Stadium against Watford as we look to make a good season even better, following the expected confirmation coming in that he had agreed permanent terms after we’d struck a deal with Benfica to make him our new record signing.
Having signed on the dotted line until 2023, he’s already outlined his hopes for a European adventure whilst at the Molineux and he’ll definitely be looking forward to building on his 33 starting appearances and four substitute showings following his arrival last summer. Many fans expect him to also build on his 12 goals and seven assists in the remaining matches of the campaign.
Taking to social media himself to send a message to the fans following his permanent deal, Jimenez said simply.
SÍ SEÑOR! 🇲🇽🐺
It feels great to be officially part of this pack, thank you all for the confidence and your support, you make me feel like home.

It was a message that struck a chord with Jonny Castro Otto, who replied with ‘I can only say’.

As you can imagine, both messages went over well with the fanbase.
