Wolverhampton Wanderers have once again looked to the future with our latest signing. 20-year-old Portuguese midfielder Paulo Alves heads into the Molineux on a two year deal following the expiry of his contract at Liverpool.

The player links up with Rob Edwards’ Under 23 squad and he will find his feet in our Premier League 2 campaign at that level as we take a closer look at him as potentially a player for the future.
He shouldn’t take too long to adjust to life at Wolves and he knows the PL2 level well having turned out for Liverpool in the league competition during his time with them last season.
Whilst he’s not a household name he is highly rated and it’s another Portuguese move by the club which probably continues to tell its own story about our direction as we continue tapping into knowledge available to us.
Fans may not know much about him, I certainly don’t, but they were happy to extend him a warm welcome.
Woo !
