Morgan Gibbs-White could be in hot water with the hierarchy at Wolverhampton Wanderers after breaking lockdown rules. Footage was posted on Snapchat of the 20-year-old attending a party in London and Wolves have said they will deal with the situation internally.
With Gibbs-White posting on Instagram back in March that it’s vital people stay at home to help the NHS, supporters from Talking Wolves aren’t happy with his latest conduct. The England U21 international is coming off the back of a disappointing season too, so this incident was the last thing he needed to do.
If true, that’s inexcusable. Big fat fine and strongest possible discipline required. Surely there’s something in a players contract about dragging the club’s image into the gutter? If so, sack him imo. Or is a party essential for a young millionaire? Absolute numpty

This is why he will not make it, sell

Let’s face it he’s gone backwards in the last 12 months, guy thought he’d made it. Nuno won’t stand for this , send him on loan for a year.

I have been so proud of not just Wolves players, but the other staff too, and how they have been doing what they are supposed to do to keep EVERYONE safe. This is not acceptable. @Wolves show the fans you won’t stand for this. Send him somewhere else!

if this is true punishment should be harsh from @Wolves, should be setting an example of professionalism not stupidity.

Gibbs-White rose through the youth ranks to the Wolves first-team in 2018 and has gone on to make 67 appearances in all competitions, scoring once and making one assist.
The 20-year-old’s reputation has taken a battering this season after falling down the pecking order – Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Romain Saiss, Leander Dendoncker have been preferred in midfield.
He’s made 14 appearances across the board, amassing 712 minutes of football, and featured only three times in 2020. Gibbs-White ended the season in the U23s, so he was already low down in Nuno’s estimates before this incident.
Will the 20-year-old’s lockdown breach affect his future next season?
