Ryan Bennett has an uncertain future at Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer as he’s surplus to requirements under Nuno Espirito Santo and may have to be sold in the coming months as his contract is up in 2021.
The 30-year-old has made 92 appearances in all competitions since joining Wolves from Norwich City in 2017, but supporters feel the club have outgrown him.
Surely he has to be sold, he was moved on late in the window as he had no place here so I doubt he would have one when he comes back. Plus it suits both of us we make a little profit and he gets to play

I don’t think there is a place for him going forward. Onwards and upwards with better signings yet to happen. Similar to Bonatini and Cavallero. We liked them when they were here playing in the Championship but I’d rather have Jota now.

He’ll be out the door

Sadly for him I think he will be sold or even allowed to leave on a free. Served us very well and will always be remembered for a certain last minute winner. But we are a top 6 club now. He could certainly do a job lower PL or Championship.

Now with saiss and boly as the starters along side coady at the moment and killman clearly the young prospect highly doubt there’s a place for him along with the fact a lot of fans want a world class CB to come in the summer

I’m with you on that one. You can’t look past Boly, Coady and Saïss at the moment. Then with it highly likely that we sign a centre back in the summer, he won’t get in. It benefits both parties to sell. Benno gets first team football and few make a profit.

Bennett racked up only 604 minutes of Premier League football before the season was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Things didn’t get any better when he joined Leicester City on loan either, with the 30-year-old failing to make a single appearance.
The Foxes had the option to sign Bennett on a permanent deal but have made a U-turn on the decision, so Wolves may be offering him out this summer. With the Midlands outfit being linked with Christian Luyindama, Tosin Adarabioyo, Gabriel Magalhaes and John Egan among others, Bennett would fall further down the pecking order if he stayed.
The 30-year-old already finds himself behind, Willy Boly, Conor Coady, Leander Dendoncker and Romain Saiss under Nuno, so any new addition would further hamper his chances of getting playing time next season. Supporters want Wolves to cash in, and they may have their wish granted.
