Wolverhampton Wanderers star Diogo Jota exploded to life on his arrival at the Molineux back in the summer of 2017/18 originally on a loan spell, but few questioned us paying a reported £12.3million for his services given how important a player he has proven to be for us.
His start to life in the Premier League as we made the step up wasn’t the best, but many felt (and were proven right) that it was only a matter of time before he found his grove again and he did just that, ending the campaign strongly as we secured seventh place in the top tier table and ultimately European football for the first time in years.
A hat-trick of assists from a majestic Diogo Jota!

22-year-old Jota was back in action for us on Thursday evening in our Europa League tie with FC Pyunik and although he didn’t get himself on the scoresheet, he more than played a key part in us effectively booking our place in the next round with three assists.
Fans were rightly raving about him on social media.
Our best player

He really is stacking up those assists… I believe he got 2 in the last game too, both for Raúl. That’s 5 assists and a goal. ????????????
