Wolverhampton Wanderers’ winger Adama Traore is really beginning to repay the £18million we paid Middlesbrough for his services over the summer, and securing all three points against West Ham United at the weekend was another notch in his column.

The 22-year-old wasn’t given the start by head coach Nuno Espirito Santo as he continues to adjust to life at the club, but our gaffer again called on him for the second half of the game and in just under 30 minutes on the pitch he took Whoscored’s star man rating in the game and polled 8.12 for two shots on target from two, two key passes, a pass accuracy of 71.4% and a goal even though he only had 20 touches.

Completing their top five were Matt Doherty, Joao Moutinho, Jonny Castro and Riu Patricio. Willy Boly, Ryan Bennett and Conor Coady also received ratings of above 7 as well.

Showing it was a worthy and justified win, only two West Ham players polled above 7 from the game and one of them was goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, and the other centre-half Fabian Balbuena so they were acknowledged for defensive efforts.

On we roll.
