With the semi-madness that was loan transfer deadline day yesterday, I didn’t quite get to this one before Friday night called, but goalkeeper John Ruddy has penned a new contract extension at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Goalkeeper John Ruddy has today signed a new contract which will keep him at Molineux until 2020.

The 31-year-old made the switch to the Molineux from Norwich City in 2017 and was last season’s Championship Golden Glove winner with 24 clean sheets to his name and even though he moved from No 1 to No 2 over the summer with the arrival of Portuguese international Rui Patricio, he remains an important part of our goalkeeping unit as had been thusly rewarded with a deal that sees him remain with us until at least the summer of 2020.

As we marched to the Championship title and promotion into the Premier League last season he missed only one game in the league and his first outing in 2018/19 saw him keep a clean sheet as we took a 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.
I think the above reactions say everything really.
