Lots of Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter to the news that they are chasing exciting prospect, Luke Matheson, from Rochdale
According to reports in the Sun, the club are on the brink of snapping up the 17-year-old full-back for a fee of £1m.
The young right-sided defender is allegedly having a medical at Molineux, with the player considered as a long term replacement for Matt Doherty.
Any deal would see the defender loaned back to Rochdale for the rest of the season, which could be suited to both parties considering that he is likely to be a while off the first-team at Wolves and that he already has 24 senior appearances to his name so far this season.

Furthermore, the player is the youngest player in Rochdale’s history to play for the club after making his debut aged 15.
