Plenty of Wolves fans have had their say on Twitter as to how they think the transfer window has gone so far – and these particular fans aren’t so impressed.
A dedicated Wolves Twitter page @WolvesFC_Latest tweeted about the arrival of Daniel Podence and then went onto ask their fanbase whether they are happy with the business so far.
There were some who were satisfied, although there were many others who aren’t particularly happy, and we’ve picked out a selection of the latter camp below.
It seems plenty of fans have two positions on their mind as we go into deadline day: a centre-back and a backup option for the prolific Raul Jimenez.
There have been a few other signings that have gotten over the line, however, they all seem to be mainly for the youth squads. Leonardo Campana and Enzo Loiodice are expected to join up with the U23s, while 17-year Nigel Lonwijk looks set for the U18s.
Here are some of the replies below…
We need a CB

Buzzing for Podence but we are short. Nuno clearly stated many times he wanted player(s) for now. If we only sign 1 I can’t imagine he’ll be to happy as with Cutrone going and Podence coming in, in terms of numbers we haven’t added

Underwhelmed thus far

Absolutely not!

IMO still need a quick and decent CB. At times Donk and Saiss have been a liability (not blaming as it’s not their position) and one of the reasons we are not top 4

With just one day to go, it looks as if Wolves’ business may well be completed. On the face of things, you’d have to say it could have gone better considering they have lost two of the first-team squad in Patrick Cutrone and Jesus Vallejo, while they have only really brought in Podence so far.
