On Wednesday, Wolverhampton Wanderers confirmed that highly rated young talent Benny Ashley-Seal had signed a new three and a half year deal at the club, and then headed out for a loan spell with non-sister side FC Famalicao.

The 20-year-old has been rewarded for his continued development in the season of 2018/19 and he is our leading scoring at Under 23 level under the charge of Rob Edwards, scoring 11 goals in the Premier League 2 campaign, as well as finding the net in the EFL Trophy against Lincoln City.

During pre-season head coach Nuno Espirito Santo took him on our tour of Switzerland as well and he made his senior debut as a late substitute back in August in the EFL Cup tie against Sheffield Wednesday. He appeared again from the bench against Leicester City in the third round.

It should be a good spell and a very good experience for him taking him out of his comfort zone and plenty hope he returns all the better for it.

Sherwin Seedorf has will spend the second half of the year with FC Jumilla following his ten game spell with Bradford City.
