With the January transfer window in full swing and plenty of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans looking on eagerly as to what kind of strengthening we do this month, a striker is the main focus for everybody in the final week and a bit ahead of deadline day.
Wolves have been linked with quite a few players already on the rumour mill and few really make sense when you sit down and think about it, and for me at least, suggestions of a deal for Slovakian international Stanislav Lobotka fall into the same category.
With a number of options in midfield already available to head coach Nuno Espirito Santo, you wouldn’t have thought we were looking to bolster that area further and with a price tag reportedly of £26million for the Celta Vigo player, despite his promise in the eyes of some, it just doesn’t seem likely.
The original report came from Paris United it seems, and reaction was mixed on social media to the 24-year-old more defensive midfielder.
He's decent, but not that price decent…….
