Adama Traore has been told he’s staying at Wolverhampton Wanderers amid interest from a number of clubs, and 90 Min say Raul Jimenez is another player  ‘attracting serious interest’ who won’t be allowed to leave either.

Wolves ‘plan on keeping’ the 28-year-old at Molineux as he’s been a key player under Nuno Espirito Santo and is irreplaceable without spending a premium in the transfer market.

Which club did Wolves sign Raul Jimenez from?

Jimenez initially joined Wolves on loan in 2018 and turned the move permanent in 2019. He’s made 88 appearances in all competitions, scoring 39 goals and making 18 assists.

The Mexican international was enjoying a prolific season under Nuno before the Covid-19 pandemic caused the campaign to be postponed. He had scored 22 goals and made 10 assists in 44 games.

His form has led to interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, but Wolves aren’t going to let their most valuable asset leave. Jimenez is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and is nearly impossible to replace.

Vital Wolves have explained that the Midlands outfit aren’t a selling club anymore, so they won’t be cashing in on their best players. Jimenez has recently committed his future at Wolves too, playing down talk of an exit, so he should be at Molineux next season.
