Which club did Wolves sign Raul Jimenez from?

Neves joined Wolves from FC Porto in 2017 and has gone on to make 125 appearances in all competitions, scoring 15 goals and making seven assists. The Portuguese international has impressed under Nuno Espirito Santo and finds himself being linked with a move to Manchester United and Barcelona.

But with Neves signing a five-year deal in 2018 and being indispensable under Nuno Espirito Santo (43/48 appearances this season), United and Barca are barking up the wrong tree. The 23-year-old will be key in Wolves’ pursuit of a top-four finish next season, so it’s very unlikely he’ll be offloaded.

Nuno is in the market for a replacement midfielder, having been linked with John McGinn and Franck Kessie among others, but a new face won’t come at the expense of Neves leaving.

Vital Wolves have explained that the plan moving forward is to retain top talents and target players yet to reach their peak. Neves’ departure would leave a big void to fill. He’s all but irreplaceable.
