Many Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have responded on Twitter as the club has removed the wolf from its emblem for the day.
In order to raise awareness for World Wildlife Day and to support the endangered Mexican wolf campaign, the club decided to remove the wolf from the club’s badge for the entire of Tuesday, March 3.
World Wildlife Day 2020 will celebrate the world’s special wild plants and animals, and raise awareness of the multitude of benefits of wildlife to people, and the threats they are facing.
How will we get on against Brighton?
Win

While many of the supporters got behind the campaign within the comments, plenty of fans couldn’t help but poke fun at the logo, suggesting it looks as if the football game PES generated the badge due to them not having the proper rights.
As you can see from the fans’ responses below, many joked about what Wolves could be called within the game, with one calling them the “Hexagon Wanderers FC”, another “West Midlands Gold FC” and one even called them “Honeycombe Wanderers”.

It’s a nice initiative from the club – and one which was launched with the assistance of Mexican player Raul Jimenez.
Aside from the charity work, things are going well at Molineux. They have qualified for the final 16 of the Europa League and will have to face Olympiacos to see if they can get to the quarter-finals, while also continuing to chase Champions League football.
