As reported by Arena Napoli (h/t Sport Witness), Italian intermediary Bernardo Brovarone spoke about Raul Jimenez on Radio Musica Television‘s program Taca La Marca, tipping the 29-year-old for a move to a “big club” and insisting “he’s perfect for Napoli” and “has the qualities to play for Real Madrid”.

Jimenez is coming off the back of an outstanding season at Wolverhampton Wanderers and finds himself linked with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool among others. The Mexican international admitted being flattered by all the interest too, so Wolves may have a fight on their hands to keep him.

Which club did Wolves sign Raul Jimenez from?

Brovarone said: “Raul Jimenez of Wolverhampton? He is a very strong player, a perfect attacker for Napoli and for all the big clubs. Jimenez is very strong in his head, has great class and is incredible. I believe he has the qualities to play as a regular for Real Madrid too.”

Real Madrid need a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema while Arkadiusz Milik could leave Napoli, so Jimenez may offset the loss.

He’s scored 39 goals and made 18 assists in 88 games for Wolves, netting 22 goals and making 10 assists in 44 games this season. The 29-year-old has also created 42 chances, made 53/79 successful dribbles, won 63/155 aerial duels and has hit the target with 35% of his efforts.

Jimenez has three years remaining on his deal at Wolves, but the opportunity to play in the Champions League might be a factor in his decision making this summer – something his father hinted at back in May.

Crippy Cooke, are you out of your senses to suggest that Napoli are a big club. They were only good when Maradona was with them in the 80s and the Coppa Italia win last Wednesday is not a big achievement. So why don’t you leave him Raul Jimenez alone as he is already at a big club going forward. By the way you don’t know Wolves’ history as if you did you will know that Wolves are a big club. You and the other so-called cheap stuff websites are only doing this so that the Big Six stay as they are. Come on Crippy admit it that you are no Wolves fan.
