With the summer transfer rumour mill being in full flow for Wolverhampton Wanderers, links with Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson have been with us for quite a few weeks.
In fact, the speculation was first rubbished back in April when claims were made that we’d given a ‘verbal offer’ for the player and his agent was quick to pour cold water on suggestions that we’d made an approach of any kind.
I joked at the point ‘I wonder how many days will pass before someone claims an exclusive that we are back in for him?’ and it didn’t take that long did it.
The ever reliable Express has now claimed in a sentence that talks have been opened for the 24-year-old.
They simply repeated the old rumour when it came to any real details, it had his name, his age, the fact he’s a former French Under 21 international and he’s apparently rated at 22million Euros.
Got to love this time of year haven’t you…maybe not.
