Plenty of Wolves fans have responded to claims that the club are taking a full-strength side to Barcelona for the second leg of their Europa League knockout stage against Espanyol.
Jonny Castro Otto is said to be the only one missing out due to an injury, yet it might come as somewhat of a surprise that no key men have been left at home with a big game against Spurs on the weekend.
The news, originally coming from the Daily Mail, was spread via the fan account @TalkingWolves, to which there was a pretty negative response.
Should Daniel Podence be starting vs Espanyol?
Yes, definitely
Whatever Nuno decides
Nope, needs to earn spot
Despite there being no mention of the kind of starting XI that Nuno Espirito Santo will put out, fans were quick to express how badly they want to see Daniel Podence start.
In fact, one Twitter user even compared the player to Patrick Cutrone, saying that if he isn’t used then they could find themselves with a similar situation on their hands.
Here are what some fans are saying below…

In other words, Podence and Campana won’t play

Gonna have another Cutrone situation if Podence can’t even start with a 4-0 lead

Daniel Podence was brought to the club for a reported £19m and has made two appearances since joining.
It might be too early to call a Patrick Cutrone situation, which seemed to be a lot different, especially given his struggle to communicate to anyone in Italian, compared to many who can speak Portuguese at Wolves.
Feeble minded joke fans complaining about a team selection not even selected yet. Losers
Spot on.
Don’t these so called fans make you pewk, they go on about Nuno, they say they trust Nuno and yet they question his decisions, every time he doesn’t pick who they want they are up in arms and now to beat it all they are moaning about a team not even picked yet.
Just a bunch of glory hunting Jackasses.
Why not leave NUNO to do his work, surely he knows better as he has done a tremendous job for the Team and Club. If supporters dont like it, better they go and support else where.
Good luck Nuno.
Dendoncker had to wait until Xmas before he got his start v Spurs. What’s the point of moaning when clearly Nuno knows better than any of us. The moaners are like kids wanting their Xmas present before the special day. Cutrone wasn’t prepared to be patient so good riddance to him.
Nuno believes the squad stays together, and the fact all the senior players are traveling to Barcelona does not mean all of them will play. Nuno wants them all to have the experience of being involved in Europe whether they play or not. Because no fit senior player has been left at home does not mean that Nuno will not start with Podence, ask any of the senior players where they would prefer to be, in Wolverhampton not playing or in Barcelona not playing.
You either trust Nuno or you don’t, he manages the team not the glory hunting fans so either back him or feck off!!!
In Nuno we trust.
There are too many wannabe managers amongst the less cerebral supporters. It’s just like Brexit over again. Some seem to think managing a team is a simple matter. Ok – but if you don’t get it at least you should be able to understand how successful Nuno has been, and have faith in his obviously well thought through decisions.
