Wolves On The Tweet

“Best fans in the world”, “40 mins this went on for” – Many Wolves fans react to video

Lots of Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter to a video of supporters enjoying themselves in Greece.

With the coronavirus spreading in Europe, the club had to play Olympiacos behind closed doors last week after having a request to postpone the game denied.

The game went onto be a 1-1 draw, with Pedro Neto grabbing the club’s only goal for the game.

Despite many fans being let down by booking travel and tickets and not being able to get into the ground, it seems that many of them enjoyed themselves in bars nearby – as you can see in the video below.

Just the day after the game went ahead, UEFA announced that all of the next rounds of fixtures would be suspended until further notice due to the outbreak, leaving the future of this year’s competition well up for debate.

On Saturday, the Wolves Twitter account wished everyone who travelled to Greece a safe journey home, before calling them a credit to the club.

Many fans responded, also giving praise to the support that is shown within the video posted.

Many Wolves fans will not be able to believe what they’re seeing considering they are having one of their most successful seasons in decades.

However, as many will be able to understand, there are more important things than football.

In fact, Patrick Cutrone has just himself tested as positive for Covid-19, prompting many to wish him support.
