The Academy graduate signs a new deal keeping him at the club until 2020 and we do hold a further 12 months option on him.
He was a key part of Scott Sellars’ Under 23 side during last season’s Premier League 2 campaign despite his age, and his performances saw his stock rise even further and he has continued that trend starting both of our Under 23 games so far in 2018/19 as his development continues.
Such is his progress so far and potential, manager Nuno Espirito Santo also brought him into the first team fold during our pre-season tour of Switzerland along with five other U23 players, so his new deal is a just reward even if the hard work is only just beginning for the lad.
Fans who are more knowledgeable on our youth set-up certainly appear to be happy with the news of the deal.
Great news part of a fantastic group of u23’s this season ????????keep up the good work young ????????????????????
