Plenty of Wolves fans have had their say on a line-up prediction for the second leg of their Europa League tie tonight against Espanyol.

Joe Edwards, a Wolves writer for the Express and Star, shared the team he expects to face the La Liga side later, where he predicts a total of five changes from the first leg.

The reporter believes that Kilman will get a start over Romain Saiss or Leander Dendoncker, Ruben Vinagre will come in at left wing-back for the injured Jonny Castro Otto, Ruddy will get a game over Rui Patricio, Daniel Podence will come in for Diogo Jota, while Pedro Neto will take the place of Raul Jimenez.

Wolves have taken a full squad to Barcelona, so while changes are to be expected due to their game against Spurs on the weekend and their 4-0 advantage, there are only so many they can make.

What stage will we reach in the Europa League?

Plenty of fans responded to Edwards’ predictions, with many suggesting what changes they would make if they were in Nuno’s position themselves.

Amongst them are some hoping for starts for Morgan Gibbs-White and Leonardo Campana, as well as some others suggesting that they rest up before Spurs.

Here are some of the replies…

It’s a long season and there’s so much football to be played, so while Nuno will want to show his opposition respect, he will surely be having one eye on the rest of the campaign as he picks a squad for this game.

There’s a good chance that the home side may also fancy resting some players considering they are five points adrift from Celta Vigo in 17th and have won just four league games all season. They are rooted to the bottom of the division and have only 13 games to reduce that deficit and get themselves out of the relegation zone.

Maybe it’s a good chance to rest some players where they are particularly short, such as Raul Jimenez for example, but only time will tell.
