Wolverhampton Wanderers welcomed Leicester City to the Molineux on Saturday for our latest Premier League clash.

It was a bright start from Wolves as Diogo Jota opened the scoring four minutes into the first half and with Ryan Bennett adding a second, we were comfortable at the halftime break. Leicester rallied though and had made it 2-2 as Conor Coady was credited with an own goal in the 51st minute, but we continued to plug away and retook the advantage as Jota grabbed a brace.

Leicester again levelled matters up with three minutes remaining, but Jota bagged the hattrick in stoppage-time to ensure we took all three points.

Statistics website Whoscored had a clear and obvious Man of the Match from the game, and with Jota taking the hattrick he also took their star man award with a rating of 9.16.

Completing our top five best performers on the day were Raul Jimenez (8.18), Joao Moutinho (8.06), Ruben Neves (7.87) and Bennett (7.34).

A solid three points so onto the next one now.
