According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Bright Enobakhare has a ‘new adventure in sight. He has ‘interest in Greece’ from AEK Athens and interest in Turkey from Besiktas after leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer.

The 22-year-old was released in mid-May, ending a six-year association with Wolves, but he finds himself with a number of suitors willing to battle it out for his signature.

Enobakhare made 49 appearances in all competitions at Wolves, scoring three goals and making one assist. He fell down the pecking order when the Midlands outfit were promoted to the Premier League and resorted to loan moves away to get first-team football.

The striker’s contract was up this summer, so his departure wasn’t a surprise, but Bright could be landing on his feet given the calibre of clubs interested. AEK Athens are third in the Greek Super League with 51 points from 26 games, coming off the back of four wins and a draw from their last five.

As for Besiktas, the Turkish giants are fifth in the Super Lig with 44 points from 26 games, boasting two wins and two draws from their last four. AEK finished third in the Super League last season and Besiktas finished third in the Super Lig too, so the duo are top clubs in their respective divisions.

Where Bright ends up next season is still up in the air, however.
