Many Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have responded on Twitter to the sale of Ivan Cavaleiro to Fulham.
Popular Wolves correspondent at the Athletic Tim Spiers tweeted about the deal, to which many fans weighed in with their pretty positive opinions.
The Portuguese winger joined the club for £7m in 2016 from Monaco, and just two and a half years later they have over doubled their money for him – all while he hasn’t been able to make the first-team in recent years.
After being sent out on loan by the club to the Championship earlier this season, he has been in terrific form. Scoring five goals and assisting six, he has clearly shown enough for Scott Parker’s side to think it’s worth spending £15m on.
Would you take Thomas Lemar at the club?
Yes please
No thanks - we can do better
There was a pretty positive response from the fans on Twitter. Many thanked the player for his time, with some thinking they will miss him. Others lauded the deal, hoping that the cash will be reinvested this January.

With Wolves knocking at the door of the European spots in the league again, as well as be in the final 32 of the Europa League, there is no doubt that they will be hoping to bolster their squad in this window.
Players such as Thomas Lemar, Tyrese Campbell and Leonardo Campana have been linked thus far, yet no movements have been made.
