Grasshoppers Club Zurich announced on Thursday that Champion Union HK Holdings Limited have taken the shares of previous majority owners Dr. Peter Stüber and Stephan Anliker.

Which club did Wolves sign Raul Jimenez from?

Sky Sun stepped down from Wolves to become Grasshoppers’ president. The Swiss club also confirmed that Jenny Wang (as club owner) and András Gurovits (as vice-president) make up their three-person Board of Directors.

Wolves have done dealings with Grasshoppers recently. The Midlands outfit bought Christian Marques from the Swiss outfit and loaned out Boubacar Hanne & Ed Francis this season, as per Transfermarkt.

More transfers back and forth could now follow, but Tim Spiers said on Twitter that there’s no official link between the two sides just yet.

Vital Wolves are speculating, but if Wolves became a parent club, their out-of-favour players may be encouraged to join Grasshoppers on loan. And in return, Grasshoppers’ may allow Wolves to have the first option on any highly-rated talent from their academy. The two clubs may even devise an annual friendly in pre-season.
