Wolves On The Tweet

‘Another player who’ll be released’ – Many Wolves fans react as done deal reported

|

Lots of Wolves fans have responded on Twitter to the news that 16-year-old Justin Hubner is ready to sign with the club.

According to reports from Brabants Dagblad (via Sport Witness), the young defender will be leaving Den Bosch in the Dutch second-tier to make a move to the Black County and try and make it in the Premer League.

The story goes onto say that the defender had an unsuccessful trial at Bologna in the summer where he trained with both the U17s and the first-team on a few occasions. Another offer was on the table from his home side, however, it seems he has ultimately decided that England is the best place for his immediate development.

While Wolves do not have a huge transfer fee to spend, they do have to pay a ‘training fee’ for the defender which is likely to be pretty minimal in the grand scheme of Premier League football.

With the club having a big second half of the season ahead of them, lots of fans are expecting reinforcements for the first-team – especially where they are short in defence and attack.

This meant that many weren’t particularly happy with this deal – even if a few could see the benefits – as you can read below…

Nuno has come out in recent days and spoken of his ambitions and confidence to sign some new players, so there is still hope that fans will get to see at least one or two come through the door.
