With the March international break now in the rearview, Wolverhampton Wanderers geared back up for Premier League football last Saturday as we made the trip to Turf Moor to face Burnley.

Sadly for the travelling fans, it was another of those days for head coach Nuno Espirito Santo’s side where things didn’t click as we’ve seen this season and we fell to a 2-0 defeat. Few fans should be getting carried away though as it doesn’t change the season we’ve had and we all knew there would still be ups and downs.

Statistics website Whoscored didn’t have that many positives ratings as you’d expect given the result, but Romain Saiss again took their Man of the Match with a score of 7.56 for his efforts on the day.

Completing the top five best performers on the day were Adama Traore (7.29), Willy Boly (6.61), Joao Moutinho (6.57) and Diogo Jota (6.55).

Dust ourselves down and gear up for the next one.
