It was a somewhat disappointing day for Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday as we made the trip to Dean Court to face off against Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side.

Having fallen behind early on in the first half, it was a tale of three penalties in a woeful performance from matchday referee Roger East, but Raul Jimenez hit his 12th goal of the season to draw us level inside of the final ten minutes to take a point.

Speaking to the E&S following the game, Conor Coady was on the interview run and he praised our goalscorer for how he’s settled into life at the club and made an impact in the Premier League following his loan arrival last summer.

With the expectation being that we will soon tie up his future given the option to buy we are believed to have on the £20million rated Mexican, Coady admitted he was all for that as nobody wants to be without him next season.

“He’s been huge for us. He’s a brilliant footballer and at the same time he’s a fantastic person, he’s fitted into the changing room seamlessly. He’s come and you’d think he’d been here for years, you really would. He’s a fantastic character to have around and you see how confident he is on the pitch at the minute, it’s an absolute pleasure to play with him. Long may it continue for Wolves. We want to keep him here for many, many years. The decision’s up to him and the two clubs but he’s a fantastic footballer and a pleasure to have at this club. You’ve got to be on at him to stay! It’s his decision at the end of the day. The two clubs will come to a decision, we want him here.”

All eyes to Huddersfield now.
