Saturday’s trip to Dean Court to face off against Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side didn’t exactly go to plan for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Playing out a 1-1 draw as Mexican international Raul Jimenez drew us level late on, the talking points from the game centred around the extremely poor performance of the matchday referee, Roger East.
Having awarded three penalties in the game, and each of them being incredibly debateable – one wasn’t even inside the box – there were also elbow issues and the lack of a red card which head coach Nuno Espirito Santo raised following the game as he met with the press.
East was, of course, a topic for discussion amongst fans as they took to social media in the aftermath of the game, and it’s fair to say he didn’t make many friends with his performance.
Report this referee to the FA

My grandpa could have done a better job refing this game.

I liked the look of that Roger East. Seems like one hell of a player.

AGAIN the officials showing they're out their depth making crucial decisions that CAN decide Premier league matches. Absolutely pathetic.

With a quick turnaround in the fixture list, it’s the John Smith’s Stadium to face Huddersfield Town later this evening and let’s hope that referee has a far improved game.
