With the exception of the five game losing streak, Wolves have been one of the in form teams in the Championship this season.

Remove that blip from our record and we would have lost just twice in 21 games and averaged 2.05 points per game. An average which is higher than the leaders Bournemouth.

But even including that five game run, we are still in contention.

Sitting in eighth spot we are just one point off the play-offs and only eight points behind the top spot.

And whilst our run of four consecutive victories might not have seen us move up the table, it has put us in a good position going into the final third of the season.

“We`re in a good position in the table, and as a club we want to capitalise on the very good position we are in, We are eight points off the top of the league and like a number of clubs we want to make the most of that and keep pushing on and improving.’ Wolves head coach Kenny Jackett told Wolves Official Website.

He continued: “We have got some home games coming up and have an opportunity there but we have to keep concentrating.’

“In terms of the table all the teams at the top except Derby won, but some of the sides below struggled a little bit so there is a bit of a gap.

“Really it is about ourselves – improving and keep getting to grips with the division and being a force in the division.
