It feels like all our articles on Vital Wolves are to do with injury updates at the moment!

We’ve had the latest on Stephen Hunt and Michael Kightly’s fight for fitness and Steven Fletcher being a doubt for Scotland.

Now we bring news on Sam Vokes. The striker if you remember tore his hamstring in the opening 10 minutes of his loan spell with Bristol City.

The 20-year-old remains on loan at Bristol City until January and is set to be out of action for another four weeks.

“The loan runs to January so I think the plan is to go back to Bristol City,”

“Hopefully I can get some game time there, which was the main objective of going, and if I can do that, hopefully some goals will come as well.” Vokes told the Express & Star.

That of course would be excellent news if he could impress in the Championship. As on his return he could try and take a spot in the Wolves 25-man-squad in January??
