Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that subject to paperwork, midfielder Jack Price will head to MLS side Colorado Rapids this month.

Having joined Wolves aged seven, this will be his first permanent move of his career and he has signed a four year deal with the Rapids. Having come through our Academy, he signed his first professional deal in March 2011, making his debut in the game against Gillingham back in August 2013.

The 25 year old departs with 115 matches under his belt at the club, with two goals scored and he leaves having more than played his part under Kenny Jackett’s promotion success from League 1 back in 2013/14.

Speaking to the Official Website Price reflected on his time with us.

‘I`ve been at Wolves for my entire footballing life so it`s played a huge part in my career. I`ve played with some fantastic players and worked with some brilliant staff. Of course, a part of me is sad to leave the club after so many years, but the time is right for a new challenge and I`m really looking forward to my next step.’

He went on to say.

‘I would like to thank everybody who has helped me during my time at Wolves and the fans for their support throughout my time here. It`s a wonderful club and I wish it every success going forward.’
