There could be an exodus at Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer, with Ruben Neves, Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez being linked with a move away from Molineux.
Wolves are desperate to keep their best talent, but heads could be turned as more suitors line up. Tottenham Hotspur have been recently linked with Ruben Neves, but the Lilywhites may have to pay a large sum to procure his signature.
Neves joined from FC Porto in 2017 and has gone on to make 125 appearances in all competitions, scoring 15 goals and making seven assists. The 23-year-old has been a regular under Nuno Espirito Santo and is regarded as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, so his value will reflect that.
CIES Football Observatory say Neves is worth €50m-€70m (£44.4m-£62.08m) while his wages are £2.6m-a-year/£50k-per-week. The Portuguese international has a market value on £36m, according to Transfermarkt, but it would be a surprise to see him sold for that figure.
Wolves are in the Europa League, but their fight for a top-four finish could be key to keeping their star players happy. If they’re playing Champions League football next season, Neves, Traore and Jimenez might prefer to stay in the Midlands. If not, clubs who can promise such European football may be able to lure them away.
Mass exodus, the way you jackass media are going we won’t have a team, forget top ten, this prove Fosuns resolve and their promise a few weeks ago that none of our best players would be leaving.
Stop trying to sell our players
You should change your name to Crappy…..most of this rubbish is exactly that.
Wolves won’t be selling anyone, despite these media beat ups….they will be adding to the quality they already have and aiming for top four. As good as any of those pretty much now.
Telling lies is what they do . They are bought up being told if there ain`t any honest news make some up. No-one in authority ever picks them up about it. They are all scum bags.
