Morgan Gibbs-White breached lockdown rules last week after being pictured at a party in London and Wolverhampton Wanderers are expected to give the 20-year-old a ‘big fine’, says the Mirror.

Nuno Espirito Santo is also believed to have ‘phone him’ to express his disappointment, so Gibbs-White has been made aware that he’s let the club down with his actions.

In addition to a fine and Nuno’s dressing down, the Mirror say Gibbs-White will also have to keep away from the other players until a Covid-19 test confirms he’s negative for the virus.

Which club did Wolves sign Raul Jimenez from?

The 20-year-old made 13 appearances in all competitions for Wolves this season, scoring one goal. Gibbs-White has amassed only 712 minutes of football across the board, 123 of which came in the Premier League, so his indiscipline may be hampering his chance of getting opportunities under Nuno.

Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Romain Saiss, Leander Dendoncker and Bruno Jordao are already ahead of the England U21 international in the pecking order, so he risks being left out next season if Nuno can’t trust him. Wolves are on the hunt for a midfielder this summer, so where does Gibbs-White figure?

Fans have suggested the 20-year-old could be loaned out or sold next season if he’s going to be on the periphery, but Wolves have a decision to make.
