For all the talk of Suarez and Sturridge and Wolverhampton Wanderers clinical edge, none of this was on show against Norwich.

I don’t know who was suppose to be who in the Dicko and Afobe strike partnership, but the duo couldn’t have had much more confidence between them following the 4-1 win over Huddersfield.

But against Norwich, they were given just 45 minutes as Dicko was hauled off at half-time for Dave Edwards and yet another system change.

Wolves barely put up a whimper in this game, dominated in possession and mustered two attempts on target in 90 minutes.

‘To be honest Norwich eased us out of the game and we were never able to build up a head of steam. It’s disappointing after the way we played at Huddersfield on Tuesday night.’ Wolves Head Coach Kenny Jackett told the BBC.

Wolves remain in 8th place, 5 points adrift of the play-off places.

He continued: ‘We have still got 15 games left and there is still an opportunity for us. I think we need 30 points, two a game from now on in, and that is perfectly possible.

‘That would get us up to 78 points and that will usually get you in the play-offs.’
