Molineux Mix is right

The Mix at Molineux is right again according to Wolverhampton Wanderers Head Coach Kenny Jackett.

Not so long ago, on the back of five consecutive defeats and only two wins in twelve Championship games, Jackett appeared to be a man with plenty of questions and no answers.

He was declaring that the mix wasn’t right and he didn’t appear to be offering any glimmers that he knew how to fix it.

But now, off the back of three consecutive victories and unbeaten in five, Wolves are now heading into games with confidence once more.

We’ve climbed back up the table from 13th to 8th and are now just 1 points off the play-offs and 8 points from top.

‘It felt great, It`s a hard place to come, Ewood Park; Blackburn are a very competitive side and they have an excellent squad.’ Jackett told the Sutton Coldfield Observer.

He continued: ‘I think there`s a lot of sides where the ability level is quite even but hunger, desire and fitness play a big, big part in this division. If you have that it builds confidence and you can get on a run and you can actually believe you`re going to win tight games.’

‘At the moment, we`ve got the balance right, we have to still keep working at it and making sure that we`re competitive and that we defend very well in every game, Since the turn of December we`ve had a good run, we`ve build some confidence we`ve got back to a system that we play very well and it`s helped us to get a foothold in the division and start looking optimistically instead of pessimistically.’
