According to The Sun, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp ‘wants’ Adama Traore on his summer ‘hitlist’. The 24-year-old has impressed at Wolverhampton Wanderers and may cost ‘more than £60m’ to sign, but it remains to be seen if he’d be granted a departure given his value to Nuno Espirito Santo.

Traore joined Wolves from Middlesbrough in 2018 and has gone on to make 79 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven goals and making 13 assists. The Spaniard has contributed 16 goals in 43 games this season.

In the Premier League, he’s created 38 chances, won 34 aerial duels (44%), completed 73.6% of his 568 passes, made 145 successful dribbles (74%), had 34 shots with 26.4% hitting the target, won 63 free-kicks and made 32 tackles.

Traore has had a hand in 11 goals in 22 league starts. The 24-year-old has been one of the league’s best-performers this season and finds himself linked with a host of clubs as a result. Not only do Liverpool want Traore, Manchester United and Manchester City also have ‘interest’.

As per WhoScored, he’s created more chances than Raheem Sterling, Mesut Ozil, David Silva, Nicolas Pepe and Bernardo Silva, and has made more successful dribbles than any other player in the division, so suitors would be getting one of the best wingers in Europe.
