Former England Manager Glenn Hoddle hasn’t been pleased with the International games breaking up his preparations for the Championship campaign.

Hoddle explained to the official site: ‘As a player I always used to find it hard to switch back into the needs of a club as opposed to your country. In those days you were away for fewer days than players are now. With all the travelling players have to do, you generally just get one day together to prepare for the next league game. That presents difficulties for the players and the backroom staff.’

I understand the point, and the timing of Internationals could be better….But, isn’t it the same for all the other teams and clubs as well?
