Wolverhampton Wanderers ended 2018 on a high as we fought back from behind to take a solid victory over high flying Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium.

Wolves have definitely put their wobble behind them now and going two unbeaten sees us end the year in seventh place in the Premier League table as we are sat on 29 points.

Not a bad return from the first half of the campaign and there will be optimism about slightly better in 2019 as we are now more adjusted to the top tier table and players are starting to show more of their best.

Having trailed 1-0, three goals from Willy Boly, Raul Jimenez and Helder Costa inside of the final 20 minutes took us to victory and statistics website Whoscored were quite complimentary in their player ratings.

Jimenez took their star man rating with a score of 8.51 and our top five on the day were completed by Matt Doherty (7.94), Boly (7.69), Costa (7.29) and Ivan Cavaleiro (7.28).

Adama Traore and Joao Moutinho also received seven-plus scores for their efforts on the day.
