Wolverhampton Wanderers released the new Adidas home and away strips for our return to the Premier League in the season of 2018/19 yesterday.

The home kit is rightly traditional and old gold and black but our away kit is a more modern white and black affair. New goalkeeping strips have also been added ahead of the new campaign and it’s just served to ramp up more optimism ahead of the coming season following the release of the fixtures the other week.

Those eager to purchase to wear with pride in Fosun’s and Nuno Espirito Santo’s next phase of the grand plan will find the home kit goes on sale on Friday, July 6 with the away kit following on Thursday, July 12. Junior strips with the Silverbug logo will go on sale at the same point.

Adult shirts (Small – XXXL) £49 / Shorts £25 / Socks £12
Junior shirts (Age 7-8 to 13-14) (15-16 home only) £39 / Shorts £20 / Socks £10

The bad news for parents is there has been a manufacturing issue which hit our supplier and Wolves aren’t alone in not being able to offer infant kits until September – 6 years and under sizes specifically.

With anticipation already high following our Championship title win, the securing of top-flight football and the signings we have already strengthened the team with this season, this news received the expected reaction although though there was a little bit of Black Country humour on display.

  • What is it with some of our moronic fans, they moaned about the last sponsor even going to great lengths to get a petition up, now they are moaning the letters are too big, the sponsor is paying a lot of money for their advert to be seen, who cares how big it is it could fill the whole of the shirt for me front and back, ffs get a grip, don’t buy it if you don’t like it – lots will and judging by the amount of traffic on the Wolves onlinemail order site last night, already are.
    My two are ordered.
