Wolves to move for Konchesky?

Our Mick certainly seems to have a few irons in the fire.

As well as being linked with a move for Chelsea left back Ryan Bertrand, Mick McCarthy ha been alerted to the possibility of a move for Liverpool’s Paul Konchesky.

30-year-old Konchesky was a solid enough left back whilst with Fulham, but his move to Liverpool was about as successful as the man who took him there (Roy Hodgson in case you blinked and missed his time at Anfield).

The Mail reported that he wants to move to Portsmouth on a season-long loan, but surely a move to a Premier League club would turn his head?

Vital Wolves Comment: My guess would be that our first choice is Ryan Bertrand with Paul Konchesky as back-up.

Problem is do you hope Konchesky doesn’t agree a deal and wait on Bertrand and possibly miss out on both? Or if Konchesky is available, sign him while we have the chance and possibly miss out on our first choice target?
