Wolverhampton Wanderers saw a new name enter onto the rumour mill earlier today, as reports surfaced linking us with having a strong interest in AC Milan striker, Patrick Cutrone.

The 21-year-old talent came through the San Siro sides youth ranks, and he’s already featured for the senior Italian side in light of his promise, and although he more struggled at Milan in 2018/19, he is credited with 63 appearances in Serie A, with a return of 13 goals.

The report by Sky Sports claimed that takls had already been opened over the £23million rated player, and with AC Milan looking to recoup funds given their own Financial Fair Play concerns, the implication is we could get him on the cheap.

We know Wolves are actively looking in the transfer market owing to the words of chairman Jeff Shi and head coach Nuno Espirito Santo with him stating he hoped we would soon to ‘a bunch of business’ and Cutrone, given the development he’s still capable of making, could be an interesting capture.
